What happens when you save
New questions are saved as draft in the live bank. Only published questions are visible to students. Editing a question that is already published and pressing Save updates it for students straight away — there is no separate publish step. For drafts, use Save & publish when it is verified correct.
JSON export is an offline backup of the current form — it does not replace saving to the bank.
